Since we have repent and received Jesus Christ in our life everything has changed and the night has gone. But this doesn't change the plan if devil on attacking your life ;Let me tell you that you have increased the bolder lines of your enemies. So what must you do since you have partnered with Jesus Christ.
Let's go and find out what's must we do in Romans 13:12-13: "The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light."
Day v/s Night
The night is far gone: The darkness of sin and separation from God is behind us.
The day is at hand: We are now walking in the light of God's presence and guidance.
So in Romans God wants us to "put on the armor of light" how to do these in Practical Ways?
1. Renew your mind: Focus on God's truth and promises (Romans 12:2).
2. Live in obedience: Follow God's commands and live a life that honors Him (John 14:15).
3. Walk in love: Demonstrate God's love to others (1 Corinthians 16:14).
4. Shine your light: Share your faith and testimony with others (Matthew 5:16).
5. Seek spiritual growth: Pursue a deeper relationship with God through prayer, worship, and Bible study.
Remember, putting on the armor of light is a process empowered by God's Spirit. Seek His guidance and strength as you strive to live a life that reflects His glory.
After repentance and turning to God, Our Identity has change: we are children of light. (You have new Identity in Jesus Christ)
1 Thessalonians 5:5
[5]You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.
Now we reflect God's glory, live differently and walk with hope.
1. Reflect God's glory: Shine His light in a dark world.
2. Live differently: Guided by God's truth and love.
3. Walk in hope: Confident in God's promises and presence.
God's Spirit empowers us to renew our minds and live according to His Word.
As you renew your mind, you'll experience:
1. Renewed perspective: Seeing life through God's lens.
2. Increased faith: Trusting God's promises and goodness.
3. Transformed thoughts: Aligning your thoughts with God's truth.
As I intentionally focus on God's truth and promises, I feel my mind being transformed. Scripture becomes alive, guiding my thoughts and actions. I sense peace and clarity as God's Word renews my perspective.
Prayerful Reflection
Dear God, renew our mind according to Your Word. Help us to focus on Your truth and promises. Guide us to apply biblical principles in our life, transforming our thoughts and actions.
